This is what your day may look like:

• Manage transportation and facility operations for Delivery and/or Shuttle
• Ensure routes and deliveries are accurately executed.
• Oversee regions Transportation staffing needs- including hiring, terminations, and contractor count to manage market volume.
• Review route and linehaul assignment.
• Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR’s, and Hours of service records.
• Ability to inspire and recruit team members, providing training as needed.
• Manage and monitor performance metrics- including survey, HOS and safety scores.
• Work with executive leadership to ensure region goals are met.
• Work with all levels of Management to build a positive work environment and improve team morale.
• Interact heavily with Store Management, Customer Care and other departments within Rooms To Go on a daily basis.
• Monitor all deliveries and routes in DispatchTrack from start to finish.

What we require:

• Minimum 6 years of logistics/facility management experience
• Expertise in logistics management procedures and best practices
• Microsoft suite experience, moderate excel
• Strong problem solving and leadership skills
• Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations
• Ability to work flex schedule and be on call as needed
