Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977. Scripps Green offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services, including organ transplant, oncology care, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery, interventional cardiology and blood and bone marrow transplant.

v As Clinical Risk Specialist RN you will be responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and promoting risk and compliance-related projects, and res the following:

v Have oversight for FDA MedSun reporting, occurrence report follow-up, performing root cause investigations and patient relations interface and resolution.

v Additional duties may include assisting with HIPAA and compliance activities.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

* At least 5 years of acute care and regulatory experience and data collection and risk management experience.

* Must have experience with adult education, basic statistics and project management.

* Orientation to root cause analysis is helpful.

Required Certification/Registration:

* Current CA RN license.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

* BSN or equivalent experience preferred.

* CPHQ and/or CPHRM preferred.

Position Pay Range: $54.27-$81.41/hour
