Job Title: Hospital Medicine Medical Director

Contributes to SCP Health’s goals as a leader in the provision of Hospital Medicine practice management. Accountable to lead and direct clinical and operational services at Swedish Medical Center and Rose Medical Center. Responsible to establish, deploy, and maintain consistent patient care and patient management practices sufficient to ensure high quality and consistent clinical operational performance. Maintain oversight and overall accountability for the quality of care and medical practice performance provided with and through the HM providers.

The Hospital Medicine Medical Director will be accountable for ensuring that at each assigned practice, HM performance is at or above established standards in Patient Satisfaction, throughout measures, provider engagement, provider retention, and Medical Director performance. Principally responsible for the effective deployment of agreed upon clinical/operational strategies and tactics.

Scope of Responsibilities & Reporting Relationship

  • Reports to SVP Group Medical Officer or Division EVP/CMO
  • Collaborative responsibility with the EM/HM Group Vice President among other Senior Executives

Schedule

  • 120 clinical hours/month
  • 100 administrative hours/month

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, Board Certified
  • Preferred: 2 years of multi-site Hospital Medicine Leadership experience
  • Required: 2 years of single site Hospital Medicine Leadership experience

Pay: $314,000.00 - $374,000.00 per year
