Area Drives Manager - Los AngelesThis is a field-based position accountable for all aspects in the promotion and sales support for the Schneider Electric Drive Solutions Business within an assigned coverage area.Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:• Developing, implementing and supporting a consultative solution selling approach through the primary Sales resources within an assigned geography• Works closely with consulting engineers, system designers and technicians to develop recommendations and solutions for addressing customer needs.• Targets specific Market segments that align with Offer GTM and overall company strategy• Develop and support selected Industrial Automation focused Channel Partners and Sales Teams• Oversees application and product solutions support to customers, sales and industry professionals• Delivers product UVPs and/or solution demonstrations to customers, channel partners and internal sales resources• Remains abreast of the latest Industry developments and Drive Solutions UVPs• Utilize Digital tools in accessing and reporting on Drive business development activities• Provide commercial pre-sales support and coordination of the Drive Solutions for the following:o Advanced application supporto Advanced product training and customer awareness sessionso Large OEM & Project proposal development and key review activitieso Business development activities with Sales resources, including setting target goals and objectives, developing sales/business plans, establishing call plans and strategies

Qualifications/Requirements· Minimum 5 years’ experience of technical sales in the industrial automation space with a keen understanding of field concepts, practices and procedures.· Minimum of 5yrs experience applying Motor Control, VFDs and Soft Starters is required.· Education: Minimum B.S. in technical field (electrical, mechanical) or equivalent.· Independent self-starter and effective communicator who is passionate about his/her position and committed to fostering a team approach to achieve successful results.· Strong time management, organizational and Digital skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities· Must have clear articulation with customer-distributor-sales communication focus· Must have professional-level presentation skills: Ability to effectively address small and large groups of professionals to convey highly technical application concepts and product UVPs among electro-mechanical disciplines.· Computer/Digital Skills: Salesforce.com, MS Office365, Tableau, MS Teams/Skype/WebEx Multi-media utilization skills are required· Language: Fluent in English. Good command of vocabulary
