Quality Engineer What You Will Do: Lead problem solving, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns using statistical tools. Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Rapid Improvement Events, Six Sigma, lean methodology, etc. Develop and provide training to build quality awareness. Assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system. Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc. Interface with suppliers, engineering, and operations to provide feedback and data for products and processes. Lead and support the quality technicians to ensure that our products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system. Develop and maintain manufacturing audit strategies for processes, products and systems. Responsible for issuing, tracking and verifying root cause solutions of corrective actions. Assist in vendor surveillance of purchased materials, finished parts and processes. Determine inspection and test equipment required to evaluate product quality and reliability. Lead and manage projects to improve cost and quality of manufacturing processes, products and purchased components. What You Need to Succeed: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field. 1 years quality and engineering or related experience in a manufacturing environment. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer Certification preferred. Sound engineering and leadership skills. Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO or related experience preferred. Strong math and analytical skills. Strong organization and attention to detail skills along with the ability to handle multiple projects at once. Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to build strong and sustainable relationships. Skilled in team building and experience in effectively working with cross-functional teams. Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function specific software.
