Responsibilities
•Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
•Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
•Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
•Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
•Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
Qualifications
•Member of Georgia Bar
•Three or more years of Litigation experience
•Personal Injury experience is a plus
•Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
•Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
•Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
•Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
•Successful completion of the bar exam
