The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Grants Specialist is responsible for facilitating grant implementation, performance, and compliance of research grants. This includes, but not limited to, grant application submissions, completion of just-in-time requests, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, facilitation of interim & annual reporting, & closeout activities. The grants specialist has specialized knowledge, skills & abilities to effectively access & utilize the policies, processes, forms, applications, and reporting tools of federal research funding agencies such as National Institutes of Health. Grants Specialist will be the primary liaison on grant related administration matters between SCF Research, Contracts and Finance departments, federal funders & pass-thru entities.

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
