Summary

As a member of the Supporter Acquisition team, the Demand Generation (New Supporters) Advisor is responsible for implementing ambitious and innovative marketing strategies. These strategies aim to identify prospects and nurture them into committed supporters, donors, and advocates for the organization. Leveraging data-driven insights, you will attract and engage new prospects for the agency. Your role is pivotal in executing the Movement of Millions strategy, which aims to reach 3 million supporters by the end of 2025. Collaborating closely with colleagues in Supporter Acquisition and other MCF departments, you will ensure a consistent flow of highly qualified prospects across three key growth areas: lead generation, 3rd party/digital partnerships, and external audience sources (such as data models).

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

  1. Strategic Planning and Program Management (60%):
    • Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage market and industry trends, donor research, and insights to attract potential supporters, donors, and partners.
    • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with the Managing Director and internal stakeholders to plan and execute annual demand/lead generation and audience growth strategies across various channels.
    • Efficiency Optimization: Identify opportunities within existing programs to drive efficiencies and maximize return on investment (ROI).
    • Acquisition Source Management: Manage onboarding, performance, and optimization for established acquisition sources.
    • Data-Driven Projects: Spearhead projects that operationalize modeled data within targeted digital strategies.
  • Third-Party Platforms: Collaborate with MCF colleagues to optimize operations and impact of third-party digital platforms.
  • Lead Conversion Strategy: Collaborate with Supporter Development and channel owners to create lead conversion strategies that nurture prospects into committed supporters. This includes developing seamless and engaging supporter experiences across email, SMS, and other channels.
  • Supervise an Associate, Demand Generation who supports campaign development and execution, as well as Supporter Acquisition admin tasks, as needed
  1. Analysis & Evaluation (20%):
    • Campaign Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and spending of lead generation and acquisition campaigns, identifying areas for optimization.
    • Testing Strategy Design: Create and evaluate testing plans across various channels, translating quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
    • KPI Reporting: Report against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable analysis to enhance campaign success.
    • Strategic Updates: Actively participate in monthly and quarterly meetings, contributing strategic insights.
  1. Annual Planning & Budget (10%):
    • Budget Updates: Assist the Managing Director in providing monthly and yearly budget updates to key stakeholders.
    • Revenue and Growth Monitoring: Keep a close eye on growth opportunities or threats that impact agency revenue and supporter growth goals.
    • Program Support: Undertake other tasks as needed to support program implementation and continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven data guided acquisition or performance marketing experience including developing and implementing strategic marketing plans
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and translate quantitative insights into actionable strategies
  • Proven successful track record of collaborative work and professional flexibility
  • Proven ability to successfully meet communicated deadlines and navigate multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills while working with teams across the agency
  • Willingness to develop new procedures and processes where they previously did not exist
  • Positive attitude and desire to try new ideas
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English

Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

  • Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $84,150 – $94,050 base salary
  • Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $76,500 – $85,500 base salary
  • Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $68,850 – $76,950 base salary

The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here). Employee may be eligible for an incentive program.
