Sargent & Lundy is Hiring a Document Control Representative Near Richland, WA

Description:
  • Interface with personnel and serve as the point of contact with training, access, project files, and record requirements, amongst administration of record management programs, and implementation techniques
  • Maintain quality records throughout each project cycle (set-up, receipt, file access, training, transmittal, reproduction, logging, filing, validation, retention, and destruction)
  • Responsible for the distribution of controlled documents
  • Assist in Quality Assurance activities and log maintenance
  • Understands instructions given in written and/or verbal form to perform the role
  • Performs the essential duties of the job often requiring sitting, standing, walking, using the hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands or arms
  • Stoops, kneels, crouches, and/or lifts about 50 pounds
  • Operates office equipment on a regular basis, such as a computer with mouse and monitor, printer, copier, telephone, scanning, etc.
Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen; Dual citizenship with a country other than the U.S. does not qualify.

Essential skills and experience:

  • This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • This position requires individual to be able to obtain a DOE site-specific security badge for site access.
  • Prior experience should include working in a production environment, meeting established production and accuracy goals with the ability to maintain focus on quality of details
  • Excellent communication skills (including writing and editing skills) and proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Candidate needs to be flexible, a multi-tasker, organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Candidate needs to be flexible to cover core work hours to ensure there are no delays in processing transmittals

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Some college-level education in Business Management or Administration

Salary Range

$46,000-52,000
