See the Benefits home page for more information. Position Summary We are recruiting forPart-Time Instructors in Language, Literacy, and Sociocultural Studies for the Gallup Branch Campus. These part time instructors are expected to teach undergraduates in teacherlicensure programs. The instructors may be teaching online sections of thesecourses. This faculty member will be expected to participate in enhancing thecoherence and effectiveness of the teacher preparation programs. Qualifications MinimumQualifications:
Earned Master's in education, or closelyrelated field, by the appointed start date
Minimumof three (3) years of experience teaching (grades K-12) in public schools inthe U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Endorsement/Licensein Bilingual Education or TESOL
Earneddoctorate in Education or closely related field
Teachingexperience in language or sociocultural studies in a teacher preparationprogram
Aninterest or experience in online teaching
Demonstratedcommitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well asworking with broadly diverse communities
