Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Navigator to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Navigator will play a crucial role in coordinating patient care and providing support throughout the healthcare journey.

Duties:

- Utilize medical knowledge and communication skills to guide patients through the healthcare system
- Assist patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate interventions
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks for documentation
- Employ sterile processing and aseptic techniques when necessary
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures
- Implement ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation
- Perform triage duties effectively

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Experience in sterile processing and aseptic technique preferred
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for medical documentation accuracy
- Strong triage skills for patient assessment
- Ability to navigate complex medical records efficiently

- Working in infusion/oncology center or outpatient or inpatient

Pay: $65.00 - $73.00 per hour
