Sam Levitz Furniture is seeking a visual merchandiser for our rapidly growing business

Visual Merchandising Assistant

This associate works with the visual merchandiser to ensure the showroom is customer ready. Assisting in day to day activities including, but not limited to the following;

Job Duties

§ Receiving/Tagging new merchandise

§ Working in both the showroom and warehouse spaces

§ Space planning new vignettes as necessary in the showroom

§ Hang art, put out accessories and lighting in new vignettes as needed

Expectations

§ Good communication with managers and peers

§ Self-reliant and can work on your own or in a group

§ Follow prescribe safety policy and processes

Qualifications

§ High School Diploma

§ Basic knowledge of power tools a plus

§ Basic computer skills

§ Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment

§ Basic design knowledge helpful but not required

§ Ability to lift 30lbs

Currently, we operate six retail locations, two warehouses, and a distribution facility. We have three retail banners including Sam Levitz Furniture, Sam's Furniture Outlet, and three Ashley Home Stores. We also operate our online store, samlevitz.com

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Commission

Salary: From $14.00 per hour
