Our Company was founded by Samuel A. Levitz in 1953 and has grown to 6 retail locations with over 600 employees. General Warehouse 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Move, unload, sort, store, wrap and inventory our furniture and mattresses
• Use RF/ WMS to move inventory in the WMS (warehouse management system)
• Use proper material handling to avoid product damage.
• Housekeeping – Racks/ Floor
• Other Duties as assigned

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory movement
• Experience in rack storage systems
• Knowledge of material handling techniques

• Ability to maintain heavy physical activity during the shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand and walk frequently
• Ability to work in in-door/out-door climate
• Physically fit and have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Safety conscious

Working Conditions and Environment

This position requires varied hours, weekends and holidays. It’s usually moderately loud. Handling equipment and merchandise can be dirty at times. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
