Responsibilities for a Cook:
Review and prepare meals in accordance with planned menus
Assist in food preparation for special meals, parties etc.
Maintain kitchen, food storage and preparation areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition always
Ensure all food procedures and safety regulations are followed in accordance with established policies
Assist in inventory and storing food supplies as necessary
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for a Cook:
Ability to read, write and speak the English language
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Serve Safe certification preferred
Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures
Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements of the position
