Responds to telephone inquiries or seeks the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Builds relationships with vendors, customers or other internal departments in order to complete projects or obtain services.
Performs simple research, data collection and/or data entry into databases, e.g. ORSOS information systems.
May also be responsible for data integrity/maintenance of department databases, reports or documents.
Effectively/efficiently utilizes communication equipment.
Uses software applications, e.g. spreadsheets, databases to collect, manipulate or report information for department projects, meetings or presentations (Block utilization).
Type and distribute routine correspondence to OR and medical staff.
Participates in functional, unit or project budgetary processes by assisting with data collection.
Enters surgery/anesthesia/PACU charges.
