Job Description
The CKCIE is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve in our department of Autism/Behavior Specialist personnel. These highly trained, specialized staff are designed to provide support to school teams to promote positive outcomes for students. The Autism/Behavior Program Specialist will provide supportive interventions to school staff members as well as students and their families that address student characteristics and/or behaviors that impede the learning process. The specialist will provide professional development opportunities to build capacity within CKCIE schools teams in the development and implementation of interventions, instructional techniques and research-based programming to improve student outcomes. Qualified candidates will possess one or more of the following:
Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D) from the Behavior Analyst Certifiecation Board
Licensed as a Behavior Analyst or Psychologist by the Behavior Sciences Regulatory Board with a clinical or master level license
KSDE license/certification/endorsement in special education as well as extensive education and experience working with students on with significant challenging behaviors and/or students on the autism spectrum.
Salary placement based on the USD305 Salina Public Schools certified salary schedule and a 190 day contract.
