Job Description
Responsible for recording sales transactions on cash register, assisting with bagging food and providing exceptional customer service and assistance by performing the following duties:
Provides exceptional customer service and assistance;
Receive cash and charge transactions in accordance with restaurant procedures;
Understand proper cash handling procedures;
Provide customer with appropriate receipt for each transaction;
Assist with bagging food, including bagging: French fries, cheese sauce, peppers, ketchup, napkins, salt, soda pop, straws, and other items.
Take customer complaints. Reports to Shift Leader and/or Restaurant Manager;
Place cash and transaction records into drop/shift safe in accordance with restaurant procedures;
Maintain adequate stock of register tape, coins and change, condiments (ketchup, salt, etc.), paper items (bags, straws, napkins, etc.) for cash register area, and notify Manager when additional supplies are needed; and
Report any problems or discrepancies to Shift Leader or Manager.
