This is a combined posting for an Associate Patient Services Specialist, Patient Services Specialist, and Senior Patient Services Specialist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. Under the direction of the PAS manager, the Associate Patient Access Representative is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits as well as collecting accurate demographic information, insurance information, and collecting patient liability (if known) at the time of service.

Under the direction of the PAS manager, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits as well as completing financial clearance functions.

Under the direction of the PAS manager, the Senior Patient Access Representative has a clear understanding and knowledge of all functions performed by Patient Access. They are responsible for but not limited to assisting patients during the registration process for scheduled and unscheduled visits. This individual has the knowledge to complete the registration process by collecting accurate demographic information, insurance information, obtain prior authorizations as needed, insurance notifications, complete the financial clearance and collect patient liability (if known) before or at the time of service.

Associate Patient Services Specialist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years - Registration experience.

  • Experience with Epic system.

Associate Patient Services Specialist, Salary Range:

Covenant (Lubbock, TX)

Min: $13.13 , Max: $20.46

Patient Services Specialist

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year - Healthcare experience within Patient Access of Business office setting. Experience with insurance eligibility systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree - Healthcare or Business Administration.

  • 1 year - Knowledge of Epic Applications.

Patient Services Specialist, Salary Range:

Covenant (Lubbock, TX)

Min: $14.23, Max: $22.17

Senior Patient Services Specialist

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years - Healthcare experience within Patient Access or Business office setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree.

  • Bachelor's Degree - Healthcare or Business Administration. Or equivalent educ/experience,

  • Certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), or related certification.

Senior Patient Services Specialist, Salary Range:

Covenant (Lubbock, TX)

Min: $15.52 , Max: $24.68
