SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

* Operate tow motor in a safe and efficient manner, complying with safety rules and regulations.

* Unload material from trucks and store material in an orderly manner.

* Manage the flow of material from preparation to shipment.

* Prepares material to be shipped.

* Maintains and operates appropriate equipment to ensure the safe transport and storage of all materials.

* Uses Software to track, check and route orders.

* Inventory materials, and supply workers with materials as needed.

* Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, work tables, trucks or cranes.

* Prepares paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.

* Executes movement of material from receiving to the yard in an efficient, effective and safe manner.

* Performs the supplying of materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly.

* Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.

* Perform routine maintenance on equipment.

* Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials, and notify supervisors/maintenance department.

* Operate equipment safely, and use safe work habits..

* Other duties as assigned.

* Participate in all company training.

* Follow all company policies, procedures and safety rules. Conduct self at all times in a professional, ethical and courteous manner as a representative of Steel Fab.
