Job Overview:

A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during and after surgery.

Qualifications:

Required:

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Completion of an OR Technician training program

* 2 years of experience

* Must have strong knowledge with general skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)

* Must be able to make calls. Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently

Certifications and Licenses Required:

* Certified Surgical Technician, required

* Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association

Pay Range:

$29.76 Minimum to $36.48 Maximum Hourly Rate
