We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fractional Controller to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Fractional Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and providing strategic guidance to our company. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders. Responsibilities

  1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  2. Strategic Planning:
    • Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership based on financial analysis and insights.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
    • Support decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management practices.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Stay updated on emerging financial trends and regulations to proactively address potential risks.
  4. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
    • Present financial results and analysis to executive leadership and board members.
    • Drive transparency and accountability through clear and concise financial reporting.
  5. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
    • Collaborate with external partners, such as auditors and consultants, to support financial initiatives.
    • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, preferably in a fractional or consulting capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct.
