Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is Hiring a Brand coordinator Near Piscataway, NJ

Scarlet Assets Management Company LLC, or SAMCO, LLC is a business organized to assist Rutgers University in maximizing revenue generation derived from licensing Rutgers' University’s rights and other assets.

  • This includes revenue derived through season tickets, premium ticket sales, groups and individual ticket sales to Athletic and Non-Athletics sponsored events;
  • the sale and client servicing of Multi-Media advertising sponsorships through Rutgers University properties and assets; the sale and client servicing of Naming Rights sponsorships of Rutgers University venues;

and any incremental revenue opportunities that utilize Rutgers University assets. The Coordinator, Brand Partnership Fulfillment is primarily responsible for the Fulfillment of all local, regional, and national advertising / sponsorship packages.

Inventory management, partnership marketing and vendor relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support Management- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the office, including ordering supplies, managing budgets, and ensuring facilities are well-maintained.

b.Expense - Processing expense reports, reconciling receipts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

c.Providing administrative support to managers or teams, such as drafting documents, preparing presentations, and conducting research

All aspects of corporate sponsorship support, including : a.Supporting new business and potential partners (clients) at the property level with the ability to manage local, regional, and national sponsor support issues.

b.Developing sponsorship packages designed to meet clients’ needs. c.Supporting the closing of new business by assisting in the creation of proposals though the Digideck software as needed.

Fulfilling advertising / sponsorship packages, including : a.Signage fabrication and installation b.Management of merchandise, tickets, autographed items, and other related hospitality items.

c.Management of property trade agreements and oversight of corporate requirements concerning tracking and usage. d.Flawless promotional execution as a liaison to the central events group (event, community, in-market, and in-business).

e.Organizing and running partner events and functions including as primary liaison to our Partner and University services group, Events group, and Premium hospitality.

Fulfillment of regional and national partnerships, including : a.Responsibility for regular and ongoing communication throughout the organization and flawless contract execution.

b.Development of efficient procurement and delivery strategies as it relates to servicing these accounts.

Managing inventory aspects of the operation, including : a.Coordinating with the Director, Business Intelligence and Data Analyst as well as other sales executives on inventory availability.

b.Coordinating with vendors and appropriate personnel to ensure all contract fulfillment is executed within scope of project and on time.

c.Research and propose new inventory items for potential partners to leadership team to help maximize revenue, exposure for clients, and overall fan experience.

All aspects of customer service and client relationship building, including : a.Cultivating relationships with current and prospective sponsors.

b.Entertaining existing and new sponsors during hospitality and athletic events. c.Assisting the local, regional, and national sales teams in managing and handling their accounts and contacts as it relates to the property.

Partnership marketing a.Assists in development and implementation of marketing initiatives intended to increase partner exposure on property and within the community.

b.Develops strong relationships with regional marketing services and partner in conducting market / online research on other media outlets.

c.Collects best practices from the market and regional marketing services to support sales initiatives. Point of contact at the property.

Sales / fulfillment a.Delivers all sales commitments made to partners throughout the sales cycle. b.Provides status updates to sales leaders and partners on a regular basis.

c.Generates new conceptual and experiential sales platforms through an ongoing knowledge base of pertinent developments at the property and institutional level.

d.Identifies and pursues local sales opportunities with new sponsors with the guidance management.

Database administration and confirms all applicable data as it relates to inventory, sales, and clients into the company CRM (Salesforce).

the property sales staff and media crews apprised of CRM system (Salesforce) needs and requirements. c.Provides reports and information about all property sales data from the CRM (Salesforce) as needed.

Event / Game Day a.Working in conjunction with event coordinators and partners to ensure all assets as designated by their contract are fulfilled.

b.Ability to act independently when assessing problems that occur on the day of the event / game to provide a swift and smooth solution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work background)
  • Demonstrated track record of success in a sports marketing environment supporting a sales group is strongly preferred.
  • A history of success in a media, entertainment or sports organization would be strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a customer service / support role is essential.
  • Diligent self-starter and project manager
  • Innovative, energetic, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Superior knowledge of the MS suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce) tools and systems management skills would be preferred.
  • Experience working with Digideck software skills would be preferred.
  • Client facing abilities poised with the ability to present in a business setting.
