As the **HVAC Counter Sales Associate** with Allied Supply, you will establish new customer contacts and increase sales to existing customers. You will process customer orders and quotations and act as a liaison between the customer, internal resources, and vendors. You will also provide technical support to customers, associates, and our outside sales team. Other responsibilities include:

* Process customer orders and quotations in person or via phone, email, and fax while emphasizing service or product features and benefits.

* Participate in training sessions, meetings, skill building and professional development classes.

* Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situations.

* Handle cancellations or changes in sales order and communicate changes with related departments.

* Coordinate with customer service on status of orders to ensure delivery commitment to the customer is met.

* Attend industry conferences to develop industry expertise and build networks.

* Providing customer product and service needs by researching products via computer system, catalog, telephone, or other reference sources.

* Resolving customer complaints.

* Maintain showroom merchandising and re-stocking products.

We are seeking an energetic and friendly HVAC Counter Sales Associate to join our Lima team. To be successful you will have a:

* High School or GED diploma.

* Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

* Proficiency with computer systems and/or able to learn new systems easily.

* At least 2 years' experience performing inside/counter sales, or alternatively, working in the HVAC/R or other relevant industry.

* Previous experience troubleshooting HVAC/R systems and/or experience as a Service Technician is a strong plus.

* HVAC/R Technical Training is also preferred.
