About The PositionUNI Healthcare
is looking for qualified and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Detention Facility.
As a Registered Nurse at our detention facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to detainees. You will assess and monitor the health status of detainees, administer medications, assist with medical procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Job RequirementsResponsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and screenings of detainees upon intake
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and document changes in detainees' health status
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate detainees on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyle choices
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in a correctional or detention facility preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
