Seeking an Entry Level Marketing Associate

Job Type: Full time - In person

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team, serving as ambassadors for a renowned charity dedicated to empowering children in the foster care system. As a vital representative, you'll actively participate in diverse local events, indoors and outdoors. Your primary responsibility will involve interacting with potential donors, sharing our mission, and creating meaningful connections. The objective is to maximize fundraising while cultivating engaging interactions and forging relationships that support our cause.

We're looking for individuals who thrive on engaging with diverse audiences in public settings and possess exceptional interpersonal skills. While prior experience in roles such as serving, sales, customer service, or being a college student can be advantageous, this entry-level, in-person position does not necessitate prior experience. However, candidates must have their own transportation to commute to events.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18 )
• A valid driver's license and dependable personal transportation are necessary for this role.
• Must be comfortable engaging with various groups of people all day
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Self-motivated and dedicated to achieving donation targets
• Capable of working outdoors

Candidates who will do well in this role:

• This position is ideal for servers, individuals with prior customer service experience, or recent college graduates
• You enjoy being outside, in busy areas, at different sites each day
• You're proactive and aim to raise awareness and essential funds for nonprofits
• With dependable transportation, you're prepared to commute and work in person
• You enjoy putting yourself out there, meeting and interacting with new people

Responsibilities:

• Learn about the creation and development of fundraising campaigns, the set up, the execution/presenting our charity partners' message to the community, and reporting back with results
• Participate in weekly team meetings and mandatory trainings where goals will be discussed, set, and also contribute individual feedback to improve our efforts 
• Participate in diverse in-person events, held both indoors and outdoors
• Strive to turn every conversation into a backpack, bike, or subscription sold
• Driven and motivated to meet individual and team goals

Requirements: Drivers license and reliable transportation 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation: Commission-based
