Description:

This position involves the development and execution of software validation suites for both supplier-delivered low-level drivers and high-level drivers in Powertrain Control Modules. Deliverables: Gather unit level requirements for base function of each low-level and high-level driver Develop and update test cases for base function of each low-level and high-level driver Execute and verify test cases in the software lab in either an open-loop or HIL environment

Experience Required:

2 years of Powertrain software validation experience

Strong ANSI C software design/development/validation skills

10 years experience in testing and debugging automotive embedded systems software

Working knowledge of Lauterbach debugger and Clearcase

Understanding of basic engine controls principles

Understanding of basic combustion engine operating principles

Excellent problem solving techniques

Experience working with diverse teams and across organizational boundaries to accomplish complex tasks

Experience Preferred: Embedded controls software experience

Powertrain Control Systems experience

Powertrain Control Module Hardware experience

Calibration experience

Experience using dSpace HIL

Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements:

Additional Information: Position will start as on-site due to nature of HIL lab work and to facilitate training, then can migrate to hybrid as some preparation or analysis work can be done remotely.
