CityLink Center is Hiring a Communications Coordinator Near Cincinnati, OH

Position & Description:

If you are looking for the ability to use your design and communication skills to inspire and impact the lives of our neighbors, this job is for you. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing internal and external communications. The position will perform regular communications to stakeholders via email, print media, social media, and video communication. The position will also design and create visual assets for communication, events, posters, and other mediums. Additionally, the position will manage the content for CityLink Center’s various websites.

Mission and Vision Support:

The Communications Coordinator directly supports CityLink’s vision and mission through creating a network of engaged constituents. Through amplifying CityLink’s voice the role can engage and uplift clients, volunteers, supporters, and our mission to drive greater engagement. Through engagement and communication, we will help to educate, inform, and enlist the support of a broad range of individuals and entities for a sustainable long-term path for the center and its operations.

The role directly leads to more clients engaging in services, more volunteers involved in serving, more donors fueling this work.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned as appropriate):

Communication:

  • Manage all external and internal communication, including:Email distributions, Printed Materials, Press Releases, Social Media content, SEO, Web Presence
  • Drive marketing and communications to support organization goals
  • Develop and design all marketing materials (website, annual reports, press releases, newsletters, etc.) to heighten visibility among key constituents and community
  • Identify opportunities to heighten awareness and support of center

Design:

  • Create visually compelling graphic design for web and print to communicate key concepts

Web Development:

  • Maintain and support CityLink’s web presence www.citylinkcenter.org
  • Develop and support additional web sites for other programs, partners, and initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement of the website through collaboration with and management of CityLink’s contract software developer

Event Support:

  • Support CityLink Events through creation of collateral and communication
  • Support CityLink Events through coordination with vendors, suppliers, and guests

Position Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing communication approaches
  • Experience in designing assets for electronic or print distribution
  • Experience in crafting a narrative in short form (blogs, social media, newsletters)

Time Commitments:

  • Preferably Full Time – 40 hours /week
  • Hours as determined, typically Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm
  • Must be available for special events, meetings, and training

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary commensurate with experience and education
