Overview:
Our Dermatology Office, with two providers, is looking for a well-organized, detail-oriented individual with experience. We have been in operation for 30 years and have a strong reputation in the community. You must have an assertive demeanor to deal with insurance carriers and cooperative spirit with coworkers. A dermatology background and/or experience with Modernizing Medicine (EMA) is helpful.

Duties include:

• Review and submission of daily charges
• Accounts Receivable
• Outstanding Claims Follow up
• Collections
• Pre-Certification, Appeals
• Insurance Contracts, Credentialing & Updates – CAQH updates (notified by Email)
• Insurance Demographic Updates – through Availity, UHC.com,
• Annual Insurance Compliance Requirements – Webinars, Paperwork completion for signature, Chart audits

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical billing software and systems
- Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in medical collections is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
