DEFINITION:
Under the supervision of the DME Manager the Home Medical Equipment Technician's primary responsibility is to select, deliver and set-up Durable Medical Equipment for the home or hospital use. Instruct patient and/or caregiver in proper use, care and routine maintenance of equipment, and to follow manufacturer's guidelines. Oversee Maintenance and Development of Specialty Products. Oversee PM & RM of Medical Equipment. Must be detailed oriented and possess a valid drivers license, and be able to work under time constraints. Knowledge all phases of Durable Medical Equipment.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be over 21 and possess a valid drivers license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED
