Job Description

At Rose Lane Home, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our night shift team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our residents during the night hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your genuine care and empathy will create a positive culture within our facility, promoting dignity, independence, and a sense of belonging.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting autonomy and self-esteem.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any significant changes to the nursing team.
• Administer medications accurately and promptly as instructed by the nursing staff.
• Assist in the maintenance of a clean, safe, and comforting environment for our residents.
• Respond to residents' requests and concerns promptly and compassionately, ensuring their needs are met.
• Assist in providing emotional support to residents and their families, ensuring a compassionate and empathetic approach.
• Cooperate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to promote a collaborative and person-centered approach to care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a valuable team player.
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
