Our Client is an Orlando based General Contractor that works primarily in the commercial construction and Tilt Wall Construction spaces. They are looking to bring on a superintendent that has diverse experience with ground up commercial construction and experience running projects start to finish.

Client Details

This client has been in the central FL market for close to 70 years. They are a mid sized general contractor and complete projects in retail, bix box, titl wall, grocery stores, gyms, etc.

Description

• Lead the on-site team from construction start through project close
• Proactively identify and help remedy design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.
• Communicate and interpret contract scope to the entire site management team.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors prior to beginning each phase of work.
• Create and maintain a project production schedule
• Review and assist in developing scopes of work for each subcontractor.
• Administer a Quality Control Plan.
• Review and approve all invoices and requisitions to ensure correct payment to vendor.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site consistently adheres to OSHA safety standards.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned project personnel and maintain a positive work environment
• Communicate regularly with owners, construction managers, other superintendents, and project coordinators to ensure progress is achieved.

Profile

• 6-8 years as a construction superintendent for a commercial general contractor
• MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL (South East and Florida Mostly)
• Has Exemplified good tenure in their career (Not looking for job hoppers)
• Experience with Tilt wall Ground up Construction projects
• Has shown ability to finish projects start to finish
• OSHA certification (preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience leading ground-up construction projects and managing a large team
