Rock Springs is looking for an experienced (must have Medical Insurance knowledge) Financial Counselor to join our team Part-time! This Part-time position has a set schedule of 2pm to 7pm Monday to Friday.

• Provide guidance to patients in all aspects of their financial responsibilities that result from acceptance of the facilitys services.
• Counselor assesses patients financial ability, determines ability to pay, advises patients on insurance benefits, and explains financial liability.
• Accurate and timely verification of insurance benefits.
• Collects payment, negotiates payment arrangement, secures financing, and identifies funding sources.
• Resolves any confusion the patient may have about their financial obligations to the facility.
• Accurate and timely verification of insurance benefits.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, 2-year degree preferred

Experience:

• Previous experience as an accounts payable/payroll coordinator, with experience in managing multiple functions in a busy environment.
