Required Skills:

• Five or more years of experience as an influential technical writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
• Experience writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences, with embedded system experience preferred.
• Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex, design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Firm understanding of SDLC (systems development lifecycle)
• Previous experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems, media players, soundbars, and smart TV technologies.
• Ability to understand the development cycle, read architectural diagrams, understand APIs and different libraries, and consolidate the process flow summary into a technical documents
• Professional certification (ex: Society for Technical Communication)
• Experience in using XML tools to create documentation

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
