Job Description
Front End Web Developer
NOTE: This position is local in Grand Rapids, MI, although we do work from home on Fridays.
Position Overview
Cull Group is looking for a well-rounded web developer who is driven to learn, accept challenges, and craft effective solutions as part of our talented creative team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of web development experience
- Advanced experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, HTML, and CSS
- Demonstrated proficiency in PHP, Javascript, and jQuery
- Creative, strategic, and independent thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm for self-learning
- Organized and detail-oriented
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with ExpressionEngine, Craft CMS, and Shopify
- Liquid Template Language, AJAX, and SQL
- API Integrations
- Familiarity with Cpanel, WHM, MySQL, cron jobs, and basic Linux server management
- Project management experience
- Understanding of information architecture, UI/UX, and SEO
- Previous employment with a creative agency
