POSITION PURPOSE:Performs all duties necessary in the positioning and radiating of patients, image processing, quality control and patient education regarding exposure. All duties normally performed by x-ray receptionist when available. Excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:Radiology Technologist:Education/Experience:Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Currently registered A.R.R.T in Minnesota.
Member of M.S.R.T (Minnesota Society of Radiologic Technologists) or A.S.R.T (American Society of Radiologic Technologists).
PREFERRED:Previous work experience
OREducation/Experience:X-Ray Operator:Graduate of a certified X-Ray Technician Program
Passed all areas of the Minnesota State Limited Scope X-Ray Operator Registration: Core Exam, Chest Module, Extremity Module, Extremity Module, Podiatry Module, Spine Module and Skull/Sinus Module
PREFERRED:Previous work experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:People: TeamworkHandles patient’s questions, concern regarding procedures.
