RLR LLP is Hiring an Operations and End-User Support Administrator Near Cheyenne, WY

We're currently seeking to expand our team with the addition of an Operations and End-User Support Administrator. This role will entail close collaboration with 3rd party Managed Service Providers (MSPs), focusing on tasks such as configuring some user software and hardware, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering technical support and training. Acting as a crucial liaison between end-users and higher-level support, the administrator will also engage in collaboration with other professionals to ensure IT standards and functionality compliance.

This position encompasses both technical and administrative duties in the management of organizational IT systems. The ideal candidate should possess fundamental knowledge, abilities, and skills in desktop computer management, installation, repair, and support. This includes basic knowledge in, printers, network connectivity, security, Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, desktop applications, and other transit technology.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in customer service, teamwork, and technical communication. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical staff, interaction with external vendors, collaboration with peers, and providing management with updates on projects and issues are essential aspects of this role.

Possessing a basic working knowledge in the administration, basic installation, repair, and support of network and communication technology is desirable.

Job Duties include:

Engagement with Managed Service Provider:

  • Collaborate with 3rd party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure smooth progression of help desk tickets.
  • Provide guidance for users regarding IT related requests
  • Review and keep updated shared processes with our MSPs and users

Process development and user support:

  • Develop and maintain organizational systems for company issued hardware and software.
  • Support continuous improvement on developing IT related processes and user training.
  • Support MSPs, users, Managers and HR in internal role transition and offboarding IT needs.
  • Additional Administrative help as needed.

Hardware:

  • Provide hardware support for in-office hardware, user laptops, conference spaces, etc.
  • Manage hardware inventory and procurement.
  • Collaborate with MSPs on hardware troubleshooting and provisioning/re-provisioning of devices.
  • Support hardware end of life planning, budgeting, and turnover

Software:

  • Support the use and development of Microsoft O362 suite and Microsoft applications.
  • Support user access/troubleshooting for various software applications. 

Job Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and applications
  • Experience with IT support, computer science, or other relevant professional or educational experience
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills in a high-paced business environment
  • Familiarity with IT help desk support
  • Familiarity with accounting software, cloud hosted applications, networking preferred
  • Cybersecurity Certification(s) and in depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles preferred. 

Abilities:

  • Qualified applicants must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel between offices, if necessary. 

This position is Part Time or Full time depending on the candidate.
