RIVIAN AUTOMOTIVE, INC. is Hiring an Embedded Software Engineer Near United States, CA
This role is open for both Palo Alto (CA) and Irvine (CA) locations.
You will own the software development for bring-up and validation of current and next generation h/w platforms for ADAS, Infotainment, Security et al. This is a highly visible role working cross-functionally with hardware, software, and test automation teams to ensure the functionality, performance, and manufacturability of Rivian electronics.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy embedded software on Linux/QNX/Android/RTOS for board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines to deliver quality code, debug complex problems, prioritize and get things done with a high level of efficiency and urgency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- 2 years' experience in C/C programming
- Experience with POSIX-based embedded systems, one or more of Android, Linux, QNX.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of interface protocol stacks (SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
- Knowledge of multi-threaded and multi-core programming
- Experience with scripting language (Python, shell)
- Good debugging skills
- Experience with embedded toolchains (compilers, linkers, linker scripts)
