Overview:
Human Resources Business Partner
The RiverWoods Group, parent company of RiverWoods, a family of nationally-accredited non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Communities is seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for sitting at our Durham, NH campus locations and is responsible for maintaining all human resource functions, acting as a Generalist/ HR Business Partner to, within established company and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal law, while supporting the mission and vision of RiverWoods.

Responsibilities:
- Carries out day to day responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits, employee relations, learning and development, onboarding, new hire orientation and performance management and employee recognition.
- Work closely with community leadership on supporting and perpetuating the community culture.
- Collaborate and coordinate with specialist to ensure everyone is well informed of employee activity.
- Provide exceptional new hire experience which includes pre-employment, first day and periodic check-ins.
- Facilitate New Hire Orientation and partner with Hiring Managers to ensure new hires are properly on-boarded to their role and department within RiverWoods.
- Oversee employee engagement for community.
- Maintains compliance with Federal and State regulations concerning employment.
- Deal with employee relation issues when necessary, documenting and coordinating such actions with the supervisor and/or Department Head.
- Maintain an adequate personnel-filing system that meets the needs of the facility and complies with current employment practices.
- Work with Director of Training & Development (and possibly conduct training) for guidance with mentoring, coaching, or training situations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study preferred
- 13 years Human Resources related experience or more; 4 years preferred
- PHR, SPHR or SHRM certification preferred.
