In order to continue to reach our goals as a company, we are seeking an experienced Laundry Aide to join our team. Candidates should be able to perform the essential responsibilities as well as meet the qualifications listed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collects soiled laundry from residents
• Sorts laundry and tags appropriately
• Launders all items appropriately (all items to be dry-cleaned shall be labeled, sent to the dry-cleaners, and received from the dry-cleaners on a regular weekly schedule)
• Launders facility linens, dietary aprons, towels, etc. appropriately
• Dries laundry appropriately
• Steam presses items as needed
• Returns clean laundry to residents
• Communicates with the residents and/or families in regard to any and all concerns with personal laundry
• Has housekeeping tasks assigned occasionally
• Knowledgeable of and implements all safety, universal precautions, and Company policies/procedures for the protection of residents, co-workers, and self

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
