Rise-NY assists families who experience, or are threatened with, domestic violence and to increase community awareness of this pervasive problem. The primary focus of the SOS Shelter is to provide supportive and secure surroundings for a woman and her children; facilitate their solution of the immediate problem, and aid in planning for long-term needs.
