What You’ll Do and Who You Are
As a Weekend On-Call Caregiver, you must maintain open availability during the hours of 6:00pm Friday through 6:00am Monday, in order to provide caregiving services on a fill-in basis. In addition, you must be reliable, dedicated and have a passion for serving seniors or adults with disabilities. Right at Home provides the training to help you succeed in providing the following services to our clients:
- Personal care (may include bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers)
- Dementia care, medication reminders, exercise, etc.
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Qualifications and Skills
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- Ready to start work ASAP!
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification is a plus
