JOIN OUR TEAM AS A Chemical & Alcohol Dependency Counselor!
The Chemical & Alcohol Dependency Counselor is responsible for providing direct patient care, in compliance with The Joint Commission and CMS standards of care and for patients under circumstances of chemical dependency, substance abuse or addictions. Performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs while enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, completing specialized clinical social work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.
Qualifications
Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
Education : Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field preferred. MSW, APC, LPC and LCSW preferred.
Experience : A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and have strong clinical assessment skills preferred. Experience and expertise in dual diagnosis, 12-step programs and substance abuse
License : Must possess a Georgia State license in social work or clinical related mental health field. Also, Master's License in Social Work or Counseling preferred.
Additional Requirements : CPR/First Aid and CPI Training. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.

Compensation:
This is a Full Time role and the expected compensation range is $42,000.00 to $54,000.00 annually, plus sign-on bonus of $1500.00 . We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our CADC Counselor!
