Responsibilities: As a Community Manager, you will:
- Plan and direct day-to-day activities of the property, overseeing maintenance staff and vendors.
- Market and lease available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws.
- Provide high-level customer service, connecting with residents.
- Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Onesite software.
- Screen and qualify prospective residents, maintaining a working waitlist.
- Prepare vacant units for rental, including renovation oversight.
- Manage property expenditures in accordance with the budget.
- Respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- A minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience and one year of management experience.
- Proven track record for successful leasing and renewal rates.
- LIHTC experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills, with OneSite experience preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing community rules and policies.
- Strong communication ability, both verbally and in writing.
