The Terrace Hammond is in search of an Assistant Community Manager for Apartment Community in Hammond, LA. We are looking for a candidate with prior property management experience and proficiency with Onesite. This role will involve supporting the Community Manager in maintaining the property and coordinating day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Community Manager in day-to-day property management operations.
• Manage and delegate tasks in the absence of the Community Manager to ensure the maximum performance of the staff.
• Engage in marketing activities, responding effectively to inquiries, demonstrating apartments, conducting market surveys, and following up with prospective residents.
• Verify applicant information and income following LIHTC Compliance standards.
• Conduct move-in inspections, review welcome packets with new residents, and maintain legal records/files.
• Handle resident service requests, complaints, newsletters, and community event planning.
• Maintain account records and prepare necessary reports and legal actions as required.

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in a property management company in a role equivalent in responsibility to that of an Assistant Manager, with satisfactory performance evaluations.
• Onesite experience is preferred.
• Experience with LIHTC properties is a plus.
