Eugene and Larry Urban launched the Corpus Christi civil engineering practice on April 1, 1965. We've grown over the years to become an industry leader in surveying and site development for residential and commercial property developers alike.
Our experience also includes master planning, site development, and construction supervision for water, wastewater, and drainage projects for various South Texas municipalities and other governmental agencies.
Our team in Corpus Christi is looking for a Senior Engineer - Water Wastewater. In this job, you will assist our land and site clients while focusing on establishing solid projects and providing high-quality service options to a wide range of clients.

The ideal applicant will be in charge of designing, optimizing, and operating water treatment systems at wastewater treatment plants. The position necessitates a thorough grasp of technical concepts, regulatory standards, and environmental concerns pertaining to wastewater treatment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continual improvement inside the organization.
  • Create and implement water treatment techniques for wastewater treatment facilities, including physical, chemical, and biological methods.
  • Perform extensive process modeling and simulation to improve treatment plant performance and assure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, such as engineers, technicians, and environmental scientists, to create novel solutions and tackle complicated problems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to determine the efficacy and efficiency of treatment methods.
  • Offer technical assistance and direction during the building, commissioning, and operation of water treatment plants.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to share results, suggestions, and project updates with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, innovations in water treatment technology, and regulatory changes to guarantee best practices and compliance with environmental requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate plant performance, identify operational concerns, and propose remedial measures.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.

Minimum of [8] years of experience in the design and operation of water treatment plants, with a focus on wastewater treatment.
