Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating equipment and structures to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC repairs, plumbing, and electrical fixes
- Fabricate parts and equipment as needed
- Welding tasks for repairs and new installations
- Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Experience:
- Proficiency in English language
- Experience with Ohmmeter usage for electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
- Knowledge of logic controllers for machinery maintenance
- Welding skills for repairs and installations
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with staff and vendors
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Leadership qualities to guide maintenance team effectively
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance is a plus
