**INTERIOR DESIGNER**

RATIO is seeking a talented and passionate Interior Designer or Interior-focused Architect to join our Raleigh, North Carolina design studio.

RATIO is committed to employing creative, self-motivated design professionals who can utilize current technologies and empathetic reasoning to achieve design excellence. RATIO is committed to leveraging interdisciplinary teams to create exceptional design experiences for our clients. Our studios portfolio and current workload includes a range of corporate & life science, K-12 & higher education, mixed-use/multi-family housing, and community/cultural projects.

Responsibilities:

* Work on all design phases of architectural/interior design projects; collaborating across disciplines with design teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents

* Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents

* Participate in selection of FF&E, color palettes, material presentations and generate specifications

* Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Interior Design degree or related field from accredited school, **3 to 7 years** of experience

* Experience in workplace, hospitality, or multifamily housing design is ideal

* Demonstrated verbal competence in communicating design concepts and intent with a client and project teams, and/or excellent organizational and project management skills

* Advanced design, visual and graphic presentation skills.

* **Proficiency in the use of** 2D/3D software, including Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.

* Ability to exhibit additional skill with Rhino, Dynamo, Grasshopper or 3D Max is a plus.

* Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, specifications, and building codes.

* NCIDQ Certification, or working toward registration/licensure.

* LEED or WELL/Fitwel accreditation, or working toward accreditation
