A Midwest Industry Executive in Healthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit (HHN) Banking is customer focused, enjoys building relationships, leading teams and providing financial advice to clients. In this role, you will lead a team of Bankers in their business development efforts to grow and retain profitable banking relationships with Healthcare, Higher Education and Non-Profit clients with annual revenue size ranging from $50 million and $25 billion. The Midwest Industry Executive position will lead a team 8 individual contributor Bankers, ranging from Banker Associates through Executive Director. As part of the broader 13 state Midwest territory, this position will have responsibility for all clients in a territory that includes the states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. In addition to leading and managing the team, the Industry Executive partners closely with credit underwriting, treasury sales, client service, an administrative assistant, and other functional areas inside and outside of the Commercial Bank to deliver products and solutions to clients. In this role you will also be expected to maintain a portfolio of your own while leading the banking team, however, the portfolio size is typically smaller in recognition of management responsibilities. As part of the regional coverage, travel to clients may include approximately 25% of your schedule. Job Responsibilities Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset Hire, manage, coach, mentor and retain a high performing and diverse team Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships Deliver the entire firm across the various lines of business Drive sales enablement through adoption of digital automation tools such as Salesforce Lead specially assigned projects for the benefit of region and national team Foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills Typically a minimum of ten years account relationship management Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services with knowledge of the region Ability to mobilize and lead internal networks and resources Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor Management and / or leadership experience in financial services Sales management and business development skills with proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills Bachelor's degree and formal bank credit training preferred. FINRA securities licenses 79, 63 and 24 may be required for the role; specifics will be discussed at the time of offer Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners Self-directed, proactive, and creative solution and problem solving abilities: use sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
