Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for building new tools and processes to help inform and advise senior leadership on key business decisions. KPI automation and continued development of financial reporting tools will also be a key function of the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the proprietary data flows within the organization in order to build new financial tools and processes to support business growth, decisions, and reporting.
• Document and create data process flows outlining the flow of financial information throughout the organization.
• Automate any redundancies or inefficiencies in current financial processes.
• Identify trends and patterns within financial information and understand the story behind the numbers.
• Develop a forecasting model that can be rolled out to senior leadership and other interested internal stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc inquiries from senior management around pricing, projections, and any other financial related topics.

Requirements Specific Qualifications (items are required unless otherwise noted)

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• 5-10 years of related work experience
• A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Power Bi dashboarding experience is a must have.
• Microsoft Access/database query experience is a must have.
• Advanced excel skills (look up functions, sumif, sumifs, index match, choose, etc.).
• Experience in automating and developing new finance processes through advanced excel formulas, Power BI, or other tools.
