```Job Summary```
We are seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maximizing sales opportunities.

```Duties```
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
- Meet or exceed sales goals on a regular basis

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Strong retail math skills to accurately handle transactions and provide change
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, as we serve a diverse customer base
- Basic math skills for calculating discounts, percentages, and sales totals
- Excellent organizational skills to keep track of inventory and maintain an orderly sales floor
- Multilingual abilities to effectively communicate with customers from different backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and provide exceptional service
- Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash transactions
- Cash handling experience to accurately process payments and provide change
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries over the phone

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week

• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
